Our General Manager, Mr. Xiang Guangwu—who also serves as the President of the Wenzhou Electromechanical Technology Association—recently led a delegation to the 4th "Sprouts: Russia-China Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" Forum. The event took place from August 16 to 19 in the vibrant city of Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.

But this wasn't just another conference. With over 50 dedicated business dialogues, one-on-one matchmaking sessions, and industry expos, the forum brought together government agencies, trade associations, and more than a thousand business leaders from both countries. The agenda was ambitious: from industrial manufacturing and energy equipment to trade logistics, financial investment, and supply chain localization. The goal? Turning political trust into tangible, on-the-ground projects that benefit both sides.

What makes this especially exciting for us is the natural fit between Wenzhou's electromechanical strengths—cables, machinery, valves, and more—and Tatarstan's booming demand for power equipment, auto parts, and engineering machinery. It's a match made in industrial heaven.

We're thrilled to announce that Mr. Xiang Guangwu, President of the Wenzhou Electromechanical Technology Association and GM of Jhenten Machinery, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan during the "Sprouts" Forum.

This is more than a handshake—it's a gateway. As Mr. Xiang put it, "This signing marks a major milestone for Wenzhou's electromechanical industry in deepening our presence in the Russian market. The synergy between us is immense." Our next steps? Turning words into action—building a smooth, efficient cooperation platform that brings more "Wenzhou Smart Manufacturing" technologies and products into Russia and beyond.

Throughout the forum, our delegation hit the ground running. We dove into the industrial manufacturing sub-forum, joined bilateral business matchmaking sessions, and held multiple roundtables with local industry departments, associations, and enterprises. Our message was clear: Wenzhou offers a complete, integrated industrial chain—from pipe valves and wire cables to high- and low-voltage electrical equipment and mechanical components.

We also tackled the tough questions head-on: product standards, CMA/CNAS certifications, cross-border payments, and customs logistics. Because true partnership means clearing the path, not just shaking hands.

While the "Sprouts" Forum in Kazan was a moment of celebration, it was also a fact-finding mission with real purpose. As Secretary-General Chen Qiang of our Association put it:

"Sino-Russian trade is surging, and Russia's demand for high-quality electromechanical equipment has never been stronger. Yet many of our member companies still struggle with information gaps, lack of local channels, and unfamiliarity with compliance requirements."

That's exactly why we went to Kazan—not just to sign agreements, but to dig deep. We came back with firsthand knowledge of local industrial policies, real market demands, and most importantly, a solid network of regular communication channels with Russian business associations. All of this will help pave the way for our members to enter the market with confidence.

Going global isn't an option—it's a strategic necessity for Wenzhou's electromechanical industry. And we're committed to making it happen. Moving forward, we'll:
